Battlefield 3 Close Quarters DLC set to be $30?

*Update* Daniel Matros, BF3 Community Manager, said that the rumors weren’t true. Kinda.

Today, an image was leaked of the new Battlefield 3 Close Quarters DLC from GameFanShop.com. The image shows an insane $30 price tag for the downloadable content. This could be a typo, but if it isn’t this comes as a huge surprise, as no other DLC has been 2400 Msp for any other Battlefield game. Perhaps it will come with a free sandwich dispenser. Whatever it comes with, it better be worth it.

    • Loldude

lol? you living under a rock? of course if you dont visit website like IGN or jeuxvideo.com you won’t hear about it… they said that like 6 months before game was release…………..

  • Domkwok88

Wait why does intheworksmedia make a video about this website’s price tag at $30 but thats his own website ? It says “this derectly supports i the works media” ?

    • http://twitter.com/YourLocalFinn LocalFinn

It’s not his website, they are just partnered with him, listen to the video.

There is no way that I’m going to be dropping $30 per DLC.  When it was $15, it was defiantly worth it, but 30? No way.

$30? Not happening.  There are plenty of other games I would rather spend the money on.

Exactly my view on the matter.

They are not going to be able to sell nearly as many, and the new maps are going to be very uncommon so i think this is a bad choice. If it is true that is… which i seriously hope it is not

Seems a rip off to be brutally honest with you.

Indeed it is, for maps and some guns it is just over the line.

i say lets start a black out again i don’t care last time we got answers before we started the black out this time we should start the black out DICE are being a bunch of jerks just when you thought they were being like call of duty know they have become the new call of duty first was battlefield premium then its this whats next a monthly fee to play bf3 i say new black out i don’t care what DICE thinks and what i don’t get is that people like demizz 99 on twitter says that battlefield premium is not true than why don’t you say it to the public to write that on battle blog this map packs are already kinda expensive at 15 bucks when consider the fact that i payed 60 bucks for this game i say if its 30 bucks nobody should buy it and if this thing about battlefield premium is true i say we start a black out on all three platforms know i need to go play more mass effect 3

  • samuDC

i think that this price is for the full game + close quarters

This is like COD: Black Ops and its constant DLC’s, each about $15. Maybe if they lowered the price and offered some kind of benefit you gain from this (Free DLC’s, Early access to DLC’s etc) then maybe..just MAYBE it would be worth it.
